Operation Homefront: School Supplies for Military Kids
Operation Homefront and Dollar Tree are partnering together to help get school supplies to military kids. Until August 13, you can purchase school supplies and donate them to military families.
Our military men and woman defend our country and our freedom every day , but unfortunately, financial struggles are a way of life for many of them. Operation Homefront is a nonprofit organization which provides financial (and other) assistance to military families. Dollar Tree has partnered with them to launch their 2015 Back to School Brigade.
Operation Homefront will collect and distribute the school supplies to families who need them.

When my husband was in the Marines and our son was little, I remember how tight our budget was. Even though we shopped at the base commissary, we barely made ends meet. Many people don’t realize that our military families make very little money. Enlisted men and women make even less.
We enjoy freedom because they stand guard and fight to protect us. Though many of us still manage tight budgets, we enjoy living in a land of free commerce where we can work hard, build businesses, work overtime, and build financial wealth because our military men and women protect our freedom to do so and they do it without receiving large paychecks. I hope you will consider supporting our military families in this small way.
